GPT Image 2.5 Introduction

GPT Image 2.5 is a browser-based AI image generator and editor built around OpenAI's GPT Image model line. It is an independent site and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by OpenAI. The generator runs both models OpenAI ships for this generation: GPT-Image-2.5 Flare, the speed-first default, and GPT-Image-2.5 Sunburst, the precision tier aimed at fine detail and edits. The model picker names the engine that is about to run before any credit is spent, and it also exposes earlier GPT Image versions alongside several third-party engines so a visitor can compare output on the same prompt. Text-to-image takes a plain-language prompt with no special syntax. Image-to-image accepts up to sixteen reference pictures in one pass, which is what lets a background swap, a garment restyle, a product placed on a new surface, or a photo repair keep the original subject intact instead of quietly regenerating it. Local editing is the point of this generation: describe the region you want changed and the rest of the frame is left alone. Output controls cover sixteen aspect ratios from square through 21:9 and 9:21, quality tiers from low through max, rendering at 1K, 2K or 4K, transparent backgrounds and custom resolutions. Non-Latin typography, including Chinese, Japanese and Korean, renders as real glyphs, though dense fine print still needs proofing. The site runs in a modern web browser with no application to install, and ships an English and a Chinese interface. Accounts can be created with Google, GitHub, or email and password; a new account created with Google receives 10 one-time credits at no cost. Monthly and yearly plans start at $15 per month, and one-time credit packs are available for occasional use. AI output still needs human review, and users remain responsible for the prompts and images they submit.
