My Playlist is designed around the full “save and return” workflow. Users can create playlists for learning, research, inspiration, music, or everyday viewing; add links from supported platforms; follow preparation and download status; and keep finished items in their own library. The product can handle public media workflows beyond a single file download, including organizing video metadata and follow-up actions such as transcription, translation, and summaries where available.
The web app works in modern desktop and mobile browsers. It supports public links from services such as YouTube, X, and TikTok, with support determined by the current source and media availability. If a live stream is still running, My Playlist can prepare it after the stream ends and notify the user when it is ready. Users receive clear status and error messages instead of a silent failure.
My Playlist also exposes REST API and native MCP support, so developers and AI agents can automate saving public media into a library or connect the workflow to their own tools. The service is intended for content users have permission to save and use.
