What TaoMenu does
TaoMenu is a lightweight QR ordering system for small restaurants, cafés, drink shops, bánh mì stores, and other counter-service businesses. It helps a shop publish a structured menu, let customers browse and order from a QR code, and give the owner and staff a clear mobile workflow for receiving and serving orders.
Customers do not need to create an account or install an app. They scan a table QR code for dine-in service or a pickup QR code for counter service, choose items and modifiers, and submit an order in the browser. Each pickup order receives a daily number so staff can call customers in a predictable way. Customers can also request service or ask for the bill from the same flow.
Why it is different
TaoMenu is designed for small shops that want to operate with phones instead of a POS rollout. Owners can register, create a menu, publish it, manage tables or pickup points, pair staff devices, follow order status, and review payment notes from a phone. The product does not discover restaurants, broker transactions, or process the meal payment; the shop keeps control of its own cash or payment QR code.
The menu remains structured and editable. The Free plan supports one published menu language and manual entry. Pro adds multiple languages, photo or PDF menu import, AI translation, Vietnamese voice input, and image enhancement previews. AI output stays in a reviewable draft until the owner accepts the changes and publishes the menu, so a recognition or translation mistake does not silently reach customers.
